Top Wreck Dive in the Carribean

The wreck of the Rhone, located off Salt Island in the British Virgin Islands, has just been named the top wreck dive of the year in the 2009 Reader's Choice Awards from Scuba Diving Magazine.

Any conversations about wreck diving in the Caribbean usually begin and end with the RMS Rhone, off Salt Island. The 310-foot ship lies broken into two pieces and boasts artifacts from 140 years ago when she sank. There’s so much to see, including a variety of resident marine life. You’ll need a two-tank trip to dive both sections. There’s also Wreck Alley, off Cooper Island, where three sunken vessels are adjacent to a wall.

  1. I was wondering why the trip reports from 2008 aren’t loading? Is there and issue or is it my computer?
